This month Beneva Flowers reached 30,000 Facebook likes! It feels good, but we still can’t equate that to orders. We just pulled Beneva Flowers’ Floralapp report and we can hardly believe the increase of orders for this last month as well. This engagement strategy is just like Facebook in regards to branding our businesses and staying in front of our customers but, with Floralapp you have a higher chance for orders. We have also seen our customers ordering more and more every month. The process is so simple for the consumer that we really should not be surprised. However, we are still wondering how many customers we are losing because they are seeking us out on their mobile browser and stumble upon an order gatherer in the search results. We know we catch a few every month but, how about those don’t we catch?
Below you will see our statistics for December. 50% of all our mobile sales are now coming from our Floralapp, which is an increase of 25% from last year.
We expect these numbers to rise with the new GPS features and Facebook integration. Shops with Floralapp will all receive this at NO ADDITIONAL cost as well as Windows phone capability and improved tablet experiences. We also plan to have the Dove interface working for all who have Dove.

• Have Floralapp on your home page
• Be sure to have a banner on your mobile checkout to download the app. After all, they will have just placed an order using a mobile device. This is the chance to lock down and secure your customer.
• Delivery confirmation emails. This is working very well for Teleflora florists and will for you too.
We need to focus on improving our mobile as much as possible as this is where everyone is going. It is clear this is the future. Mobile, apps and location based service along with social engagement are the future of retail.
