1) Scale down your offerings on your website, or turn off website ordering altogether.
2) Make every order “designer’s choice” in holiday colors or at the very least, make sure all orders have designer’s choice as a 2nd option.
3) Limit your offerings to just three products – flowers, plants and gifts. Let the customers decide the price point and then fill to value with products you have left.
4) If you think you are going to have extra holiday products left over, add them to cooler arrangements to build value.
These methods are quite profitable for you and also help you to clear out extra inventory. Last minute shoppers know their options are limited.
